The house is typically French and has lots of space. It can accommodate up to 8 people in 5 bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, a spacious living room with dining area and a well equipped kitchen. Bram, 15 minutes from Carcassonne, is a pretty town nestled in a wide valley of the Aude (Lauragais) which extends between the Mediterranean and Toulouse. The Canal du Midi is only 10 minutes walk from the town and is one of the World Heritage sites. A bike path joins the town at the Canal du Midi and allows you to enjoy beautiful bike rides. Bram is the largest example of a circular city in Europe and hosts a thriving weekly market every Wednesday throughout the year. The town has 2 coffee bars, one of which serves lunch, and several restaurants. There are also hairdressers, beauty salons, shops, banks, florists, newsagents and a Carrefour supermarket. In terms of culture, the city has an archaeological museum and a house of arts (Les Essarts) which host beautiful exhibitions! The city is safe and generally very quiet at night. It is only 15 minutes from Carcassonne and the airport. For children, there is a nice park in the town and several playgrounds. Just 1.5 km from the city, a pretty lake is home to a fantastic ski/wakeboard and a bar-restaurant.
